Ordered new glasses!

Hi Everyone! :D

I got an eye test today at the optician, because I was having some issues with some visual disturbances. It turned out that I had 1/4 astigmatism on my left eye (sorry if the words are'nt right, I'm using Google translater ^^) so that might be the reason for it. But She thought that I should visit my doctor, just in case, it was something serious.

But I choosed a pair of glasses and a pair of sunglasses with strength in! I can't remember the brand for my glasses, but they look like a pair of Ray-Ban in black ^^ And my sunglasses are the brand Odd Molly! I can't find a picture of them online, but they're über cool!

And I promise to show pictures of both pairs! ;) I'll probably get them within a week or two!

Here's a picture of the glasses I'm wearing atm.. They're okay, but they've never been the one I really wanted, so I can't wait to get the new pair!

So I'm really excited right now! :D YAY! I can't wait!!!!

The Sims Medieval

Hi everyone!

As you all probably know, I'm a huge fan of the Sims series, and I began to play The Sims Medieval the other day. I really like the game, I'm a huge sucker for medieval universes and stuff like that, so this is just the game for me!

It's not a traditional the sims game, but it's still awesome, and there's a lot of different options to do!

Spring time!

Hi Everyone!

Here in Denmark the weather is getting warmer and more sunny. I love this season of year, when the snowdrops and tulips show their beauty! And I can really feel the difference on my mood aswell. I'm getting happier and more energetic! And not to mention that my Birthday is comming up next month! Another reason to love Spring! ^^ Hahah

I'm almost done with my Internship in the afterschool-care, and I'm kinda ambivalent about that I have to go back to school. But I'm really looking forward to go back, but I'm gonna miss the children a lot :/

I'm going in a new Internship in August, I don't know where I'm going yet, but I'll find out in May I think. I think I want to go to a Kindergarten this time ;)

This weekend I'm not doing much, I might play The Sims Medieval! ;) And enjoying the wonderful weather!

I just had to blog about the new stuff from H&M, especially the accessories! I'm in love!

Relaxing with Buller

Hi everyone!

I got my half-way evaluation today, and I was approved to pass my internship! Yay! ^^ But when I came home, I found my boyfriend, Morten, sitting with his leg up in the air. He got a sprained foot :/ He came home early and went to the doctor to get a bandage on. His foot is very brushed and swollen. He was playing football and he smashed his foot into a concrete wall! What a luck that it didn't break!

And now I'm relaxing with "my dog" Buller. His not really my or our dog, he belongs to Morten's parents, but we take care of him sometimes, and he loves to stay at our place ^^ He's the best dog in the world :D

And here's a picture of him right now! So cute! <3

On Sunday and Monday there's a Danish tradition called "fastelavn", it's a bit like Halloween, where you dress up and stuff, and we're having a party in my after-schoolcare, and I plan to dress up like Michael Jackson! ^^ Gonna be so much fun! :D I love to dress up ;)

The Oscar goes to...

Hey Everyone!

The Oscars! What a night! ^^ First, a HUGE congrats to the Danish Film maker, Susanne Bier, for winning the Best Foreign Language Film, "A better world" :D Yay! And she looks so pretty, but not as pretty when she won a Golden Globe! ;)



But I really enjoy looking at the dresses on the Red Carpet, and here are some of my favourites ;)

Natalie Portman - Pregnant and gorgeous! <3 Love her!


Halle Barry - I really love her dress, so pretty!


Hilary Swank - Pretty as always ;)


Helena Bonham Carter - I'm a HUGE fan, and she always looks different and sassy, and so freakin' AWESOME! :D


Scarlett Johansson - I really like the dress, I'm a sucker for laces! ^^ And I like her short hair, looks great!


Mila Kunis - She is SO beautiful! :D I've never seen her looking ugly!


Okay.. And now to your worst nightmare! Sharon Stone does it again.. Not only the dress is ugly, but the hair.. She looks like Frankensteins bride! OMG! Hahah!



And for a quick little update here from my world ;)

I'VE GOT NEW SHOES! ^^ YAY!
I wanted them for Christmas, but did'nt get them, and now they were on sale, so I bought them! :D



They are great to walk in, and I already got an occasion to wear them! ^^ Even better! :D Hahha

But that's all for now.. I'm thinking about working on my Nahui Ollin bag.. I'm never gonna finish it..

How to make a purse out of paper (Nahui Ollin)

Hi Guys!

Here's how you make a purse or bag out of paper.. Enjoy! ^^
(Sorry this post is probably gonna be long)

So start with you need some paper (newspaper, candy paper, gift wrap etc.), a pair of sissors, some clear tape and a ruler.


Afterwards you need to measure the pieces you want. The peaces need to be like 5x10cm, or 7x14cm or 10x20cm long. The long side has to be twice as long as the short side. If you want, you can make the long side 1cm longer, just to make it easier to put the pieces together.


When you have your pieces, you need to put clear tape on them, to make them waterproof and more robust. Then you fold it in half, like this:


After you fold it in half, you open it again, and fold the side 1/3, so it meets the line in the middle.


Then fold the other side the same way, so it looks like this:


Then you fold it on the middle again, so the two folded sides meets each other and the piece closes.


Then you fold it on the long side. You fold it in half, like this:


Then you open it again, like before, and fold the sides in half, to the middle line.


Now you have a "V" shaped piece, that should look like this: (It's important that the pieces are correctly folded, that makes it easier to put them together.)


Now you need to make a lot of these! Then you put them together like this: (there'll always be that one long piece when you braid them together, and it'll hold just fine ;) )










It's a bit hard to show and explain, but when you have the pieces, you need to braid them together, so they "lock" in each other.

But now you just have to make it the size you want. I'm making a small summer handbag. So I'm using 80 pieces! And I probably need to make 10 of them! ^^

But now you need to sew them together! (this is my 3'rd line I'm sewing on)


I'm using fishing line to sew with, because it's pretty much invisible and it's strong. I'm sewing in Zik-Zak. (Just tie a knob when you start, you can't really see it)






And that's pretty much it. Then you just have to sew the buttom together and maybe a zipper in the top ;) And then it's done! :D

Relaxing day

Hi everyone!

Today I'm not doing much, I'm having two days off from my internship in the after-school-care, so I'm just enjoying having the apartment to my self! Hahah ^^

But I'm doing a project atm, I'm making bags out of wrapping paper :D Just like the Ecoist bags! ^^ It's really fun and easy, but it takes a freakin long time to do! ;)

I'm doing a bag with about 800 pieces I need to fold and put together ^^ But I'm sure the result will be awesome! :D I'll promise to post pictures when I'm done! ;)

Oh yeah, it have been snowing again.. But the sun have been shining the last couple of days :D Yay!

But besides makeing these bags and doing my intership, I'm not doing much.. ^^ Just waiting to end this internship and get back to school, waiting for the weather to change and for it to be Summer! :D

I'm very much in love with the Spring/Summer collections this year!

Some of the themes so far are: Denim, White blondes and brown leather!

H&M aka. LOVE!

Hi guys! :D

So, I promised to show you my New Year's dress, so here it is:


And as you probably know green is my favourite colour ^^

And as you probably know aswell is that I LOOOOOVE H&M <3 <3 <3
Most of my clothes is from H&M, it's great quality, it's cheap and it looks great!
Especially "Divided" is just the style for me! ^^

But their Spring collection came out some time ago, and I wanna show you some of my favourite pieces :D

Check out what I found in H&M's new spring collection. Irresistible, right?

^The shorts is adorable! I love them! My mom bought them for my birthday ^^ Even though my birthday's not before April :D What a great mom I have ;)

I hope that I can loose some weight, so can wear the shorts nicely, I'm going on holiday aswell, so hopefully I can loose a few KG's :D

But back to the real work ^^
I'm soon gonna go to a after school care, cause of my education, so I have A LOT to do these days, there's a lot to write and stuff.. So I'm quite busy.. ;)
